Aboard Kai
Kai is a sailing catamaran, built by Wellington in 1983 and refitted in 2020. Two hulls keep her level at anchor, and she sails when the wind is right.
She sleeps six guests in three cabins. Two crew look after them, and their wages are part of the weekly rate.
At US$16,000 a week with every cabin full, that is US$381 per guest a night before running costs.
